The composite material used in this study was built up from many thin aluminum alloy sheets and unidirectional CFRP layers. This material can be formed plastically at the room temperature under a certain limiting conditions. Because of the range that the material is formed without defects is relatively narrow, there are some problems in this forming process. A purpose of this study is to solve the problems by means of introducing the ordinary forming process of the plastic composite that makes material and forms the shape at the same time. The V-shape forming experiments were carried out with the change of curing temperature, the forming pressure and the radius of the tip of V-shaped punch. Forming conditions of the super hybrid material were optimized by using the experimental results, and the problems were almost solved. The products showed no spring-back, and the accuracy of thickness of the products was improved remarkably compared with those of formed under the room temperature using cured sheet material.
